NEXT MEETING - FAYETTEVILLE, AR

We had a good turnout for our August meeting and accepted four more members. Welcome to Sissy Hill, Marichin Rosenstein, Julia Motega and her daughter Alexa Motega (a junior member.)

This brings our membership to 47 friends and Papillon lovers.

We discussed having some of our meetings during the year where we can have a social day for all the dogs and to include our pet and performance members more.

We met during the Tulsa shows, on Saturday, May 28th. Member Danae Fayard helped us out by finding a very nice meeting room nearby at Te Kei's Asian resturant.

We had a good meal with a large attendance. We elected officers, the same board as last year, and discussed trophies and other items for our 2012 specialies.

New members were received, Sally Baccus, Joanne Glawson and Linda Riley. We extend a big welcome.

We will meet in August at Little Rock.

The members got together at Claremore on April 14th for our meeting. We discussed and approved the club buying plaques for members who put titles on their dogs, beginning 2011 and on. There will be small brass plates to add for each new title. These titles include not only conformation awards but any recognized award such as agility, therapy, etc. If members would like to add previous year's awards they may purchase them to add to their plaque. Marilyn Illif is handling the details.

We received four new members today. Welcome to Ed and Yolanda Lamb and Donna Hendrix who live in Broken Arrow, OK and Barbara McClure who lives in Rosehill, KS.

Vice President, Don Colvard hosted our first meeting for 2011 in Feburary. Fortunately, there was little business to conduct because we failed to attain a quorum.
